A wonderful place to visit here in part Hsinchu Taiwan and this is Hsinchu moat Water Park.
It is located in the East Gate, Hsinchu moat ring to cultural street direction, from Linsen Road to Central Road, 600 meters long, 56 meters wide moat (East Gate major groove).
Well, according to http://guide.easytravel.com.tw/scenic/3255 the history of this park goes like this. There are four ancient chuchien ancient tower, to defend it as digging trenches outside the city moat, on the river with four towers, each with a drawbridge, both transportation and defense capabilities. As history goes by, the moat has already lost defensive function, the Republic of 70 years, is home sewage drains, known as "East Gate big ditch." Republic of China 80 years to start renovation, the first issue to improve sewage disposal, and thus enhance the positive green water height, after ten years of achievements to complete the current hydrophilic space, is currently the only Taiwan moat.
Water Park has trails and gardens, but also provides two small ladder at the theater for outdoor performances Hsinchu public use, now let moat moat beauty has become a public recreation water park the best place, like a little oasis in the urban jungle between a a quiet beauty spots.
